They apply to any individual customer (hereinafter “the Customer”). For services provided on the basis of a quote (groups, private bookings, companies, public bodies), specific terms may apply and shall prevail in the event of any inconsistency.
3) Pre-contract information
Before any booking, the Customer acknowledges having reviewed the essential information: the content of the Service, duration, location, any special conditions, price, payment terms, cancellation/changes policy, and these T&Cs.
4) Booking – contract formation
4.1 Booking process
Bookings are made via the website’s online booking system: selecting a date/time slot, number of participants, entering the required information, and confirming.
A booking is deemed final upon:
-
on-screen confirmation, and/or
-
receipt of a booking confirmation email,
and where online payment is required, after successful payment collection.
4.2 Availability
Services are offered subject to availability. Karuna Nature reserves the right to refuse a booking in the event of unavailability, clearly incorrect information, non-payment, or prior conduct incompatible with safety rules and respect for people/nature.
5) Prices
Prices are shown in euros (€). Unless otherwise stated, they cover the guided service itself. Unless specified, prices do not include: transport, meals, accommodation, specific entrance fees, or any personal expenses.
6) Payment terms
Payment is made using the methods offered on the website at the time of booking (online payment and/or any other options provided).
In the event of a payment incident, Karuna Nature may cancel the booking as of right.
7) Delivery of services – participation conditions
7.1 Punctuality / no-show
The Customer agrees to comply with the schedule and meeting point. In the event of lateness, the Service may start without the Customer. In case of no-show, no refund is due.
7.2 Equipment, fitness, safety
Services take place in natural environments. The Customer must bring suitable clothing and equipment (footwear, clothing, water, rain/cold/sun protection).
The Customer confirms they are physically fit for the activity. Any special circumstances or contraindications must be reported before the outing.
Karuna Nature may refuse participation to any person whose equipment or conduct could endanger themselves, the group, or natural areas; in such cases, no refund is due, subject to any exceptional commercial gesture.
7.3 Minors
Minors participate under the responsibility of an accompanying adult, unless the Service is explicitly described as a specific supervised arrangement and subject to required authorizations.
7.4 Compliance with instructions and respect for nature
The Customer agrees to follow the guide’s instructions (safety, discretion, respect for fauna/flora, local rules). Any serious breach may result in exclusion without refund.
8) Changes / cancellation by the Customer (standard policy)
Unless specific conditions are stated on the Service page, the following policy applies:
-
Cancellation more than 7 days before the date: 100% refund.
-
Cancellation between 7 days and 72 hours before the date: 50% refund.
-
Cancellation less than 72 hours before the date: no refund.
8.1 Rescheduling request
A rescheduling request (change of date) may be accepted subject to availability, provided it is made no later than 72 hours before the date. Rescheduling is a commercial courtesy and is not guaranteed.
8.2 Technical fees
Where payment is processed via a payment provider, any non-recoverable technical fees may, where applicable, remain payable by the Customer (only if actually charged and not refunded to the Provider).
9) Cancellation / changes by the Provider
9.1 Weather, safety, field constraints
Karuna Nature reserves the right to cancel or adapt the Service (route, duration, nearby meeting point) where conditions make the activity unsuitable: adverse weather, safety concerns, access restrictions, major disturbance, or similar circumstances.
9.2 Minimum number of participants
Where a minimum number of participants applies, it is stated on the booking page. If the minimum is not met, Karuna Nature may cancel the Service.
9.3 Consequences
If Karuna Nature cancels the Service, the Customer may choose:
-
a full refund, or
-
a reschedule to another date/service, if offered.
No additional compensation may be claimed (including the Customer’s travel costs), except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
10) Right of withdrawal (dated services)
In accordance with rules applicable to distance contracts, the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure activities provided on a specific date or during a specific period. Consequently, for dated outings/events, the Customer does not benefit from a right of withdrawal; only the cancellation terms in Section 8 apply.

Karuna Nature is bound by an obligation of means and will use reasonable skill and care to deliver the Service under good conditions.
The Provider cannot be held liable in the event of:
-
failure to follow instructions,
